The reservations carried out through operators of tourism or travel agencies will be requested with an advance of 7 days before the beginning of the trip. Once confirmed the space readiness for the date and the required tour, the client should send to Bala Tours, through fax or electronic mail, the reservation form.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:

The cancellation of a hired service should be notified in written form. If the cancellation is made after the total payment by the hired service, the percentage of retentions to apply arises of the following scale:

– 2 days before the tour: 35%.

– The same day of the tour: 85% INSURANCE:

It is the same tourists’ responsibility the recruiting of insurance of trip or against accidents, as well as to carry the necessary documentation at the moment of the trip.

LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The participation in the tours requires a good general state of health, because during their accomplishment are carried out walks and journeys in boat or vehicle of up to 5 hours of duration. Any limitation or physical inadequacy, as well as allergies and special nutritious requirements, should be informed to Bala Tours at the moment to request the reservation. Although Rurrenabaque is an area free of malaria and yellow fever, it is recommended to consult with your doctor the necessity of a specific prevention.

CANCELLATIONS AND AIR DELAYS:

The airstrip of the airport of Rurrenabaque is not paved. Therefore, when bad conditions of weather interfere, especially during the rainy season (between December and March), the arrival and exit flights may suffer delays or cancellations. In these cases, it is recommended to foresee the necessity to remain an additional day in the place. Bala Tours doesn’t take the responsibility for the changes in the schedules and/or itineraries of the flights. Bala Tours won’t make any kind of refunds in any case for cancellations and delays in the tour, as a consequence of itinerary changes in the flights.Bala Tours also declines any responsibility for delays or cancellations of buses, accidents, strikes, blockades, changes of itineraries outside of its control or other irregularities. If during the realization of the tour and by own decision, the passenger abandoned the housing or if the passenger didn’t make use of some service, he won’t be entitled to claims neither refunds.

CHANGES OF ITINERARY OF THE TOUR:

Bala Tours will carry out all the efforts to make the tour according to the foreseen itinerary. However, in the event of being necessary and for reasons unaware to the company, like climatic, social and other conditions, the itinerary can be modified, in order to guarantee the security, comfort and/or the visitor’s satisfactory experience.

TOUR LEADER POLICY:

The tour leaders will be considered as free starting from 6 people in private groups; in shared ones starting from 12 people.
